Angus McQueen

Angus founded McQueen Group in 1994 and in 2024 proudly celebrated the 30th anniversary of the company.  

Angus is passionate about helping families achieve their financial goals.

Over the years, he has grown the team at McQueen Group, who also share his passion.

He has built the business to ensure it can cater for all the financial needs of his clients.

Angus is a Member of the Association of Financial Advisers, a Senior Fellow of Corporate Directors Association and a very active member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). It was MDRT who gave him one of his first opportunities to speak internationally; in Philadelphia in 2013, where he spoke to an audience of 1,500 and received a standing ovation. Since then, he has spoken all over the world on various topics to audiences 11,000 strong.

Angus is the Foundation Director of both the Old Scotch Football Club Foundation and the Geoff Ogilvy Foundation.

Being a successful business owner, Angus is passionate about helping other business owners grow their businesses. As a result, he has the honour of sitting on many of our clients’ Boards.

Angus has worked on some of the biggest life insurance cases ever underwritten in the Australian market – protecting business owners debts, their capital value, and the business owners family.

A father of three, Angus loves spending time with his family but he still believes the ideal day involves 18 holes of golf with clients, or a fishing trip. Although his golf is much better than his fishing!
