McQueen Team Attend
OSFC Breast Cancer Network Australia Luncheon
August 3 2024
On Saturday 3 August, our team were honoured to attend the Old Scotch Football Club's Breast Cancer Network Australia luncheon.
BCNA was born in 1998 out of a small group of determined women who wanted to make the breast cancer journey better. The Pink Lady silhouette is symbolic of BCNA’s focus on the people affected by breast cancer and all those around them, not the disease.
The event paid tribute to the incredible work of the BCNA, and a special auction, with our very own Henry Dick as Auctioneer, was conducted to raise much-needed funds for the organisation.
It was a wonderful afternoon with addresses from Campbell Brown and the BCNA, and the generosity of the Old Scotch community was abundant.
The afternoon was made even more special with Mitch Bradley celebrating his 200th game and Millie Fraser-Smith marking 50 games with the Stars.
We would like to sincerely thank Andrew Toop, William Strange and Kate Tass for organising the event, and if you would like to donate to the BCNA, you can do so via this link - https://www.bcna.org.au/.
