Reflecting on this time last week, when the McQueen team held our annual offsite retreat.

The retreat was held at The Village Green in Strath Creek, a stunning space characterised by its rolling hills and beautiful landscapes.

The dedicated time and space away from the usual work environment fostered interdivisional collaboration and allowed us to develop deeper connections.

The team participated in multiple personal development sessions, as well as group bonding activities. These sessions were designed to reinforce our values and culture, and to stimulate creative thinking and fresh ideas and approaches that will be beneficial for both our team, and our clients.

Some of the highlights included a curated wine experience and tour of the grounds with our Founder Angus McQueen, a delicious paella lunch cooked by our Head of Wealth Alexander Lee and a group hike to the top of the nearby hills to view the spectacular morning sunrise.

We were also treated to a visit and an informative presentation by Tom Schubert and Harry Graham from our investment committee.

Our core session for the retreat focused around reflecting on 2024, reviewing our performance via targets and scoreboards, and forecasting for 2025.
The theme of teamwork shone through in this session, as there was a diverse range of input and collaboration across the team.

The team are feeling refreshed, inspired and excited for the year to come!
