Wendy Sebire

Wendy joined the McQueen Team in 2021 as a Senior Accountant.

Wendy is an accomplished accountant with extensive experience across diverse industries and in varied roles over many years.

Her accounting career began with bookkeeping for a sharebroking firm, a part-time role that not only helped support her through her business degree at RMIT but provided valuable and practical experience that set her career path.

RMIT offered a work experience option which Wendy believed would be essential to her career. This choice and her experience in reconciling large share trading accounts provided Wendy with the great opportunity to join Ernst & Young where she worked with a wide range of clients and gained valuable experience in both accounting and building client relationships.

Wendy worked with Ernst & Young for over 10 years, attaining her CA qualification and reaching a Manager position within the Business Services division.

A transition into business saw Wendy move to a role as Accountant at a successful winery/restaurant in the Yarra Valley, assisting with their internal accounting systems and performance assessment. Not only did this provide a picturesque work environment but a great insight into the internal management and challenges of a multifaceted business.

Following sale of the winery business, Wendy returned to public practice joining a smaller accounting firm dedicated to helping support small and medium size businesses. This provided a great opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients, nurturing strong client relationships.

Looking for further experience, challenge and opportunity, Wendy moved to join the McQueen team in 2021 with the aim of building new client relationships and supporting clients in successfully navigating the different stages of their business lifecycle.
